The New Volley Ball Court
The Volley Ball court is well on it’s way to being finished (thank you Lord). A big thank you to Janine & Volker Bachle, DenRon, Van Rooyen Plant Hire and KK Sand for making this possible. The vision of the court is to make it possible to host regular Friday games against other schools and local teams. It will also give us the necessary game experience to do very well at next years convention.
Convention 2011
On the 1st of October the AASC team from P.C.S. left for convention. We were blessed to overnight at the Lilford family and also the Milner’s house in Cape St. Francis before heading for Bloemfontein very early the next morning. The convention kicked off with an exciting soccer day where the boys walked off with a silver medal. It was an amazing week. Each rally was something to look forward to. Some of the guest speakers and artists included Lloyd Cele and Mr. Roy Savage from Australia. Our students did not hide their talents under their mattresses but used them to the best of their abilities in bringing loving glory to God. Every day was filled with events and performances which brought us 23 medals were shared amongst the nine students from PCS (all achieved at least one medal) includes 5 USA nominations for the International Student Convention held in America next March. The theme for this year was “Treasure”. After the blessed time that we had, it was most certainly a week of memories that we will treasure in our hearts forever. By Nina Kotze
